Basic Needs

BASIC NEEDS
Individuals are able to meet their basic needs in times of crisis.

WHY IT MATTERS
Hunger and homelessness are critical issue facing our community. Food pantries, soup kitchens, and emergency shelters are often at capacity, and a family is displaced by a house fire every day on average. It is imperative that we have a safety net to provide emergency food, clothing, and temporary shelter. Only when these most basic needs are met can the hungry and the homeless in our community begin the transition to a life without food lines, shelter,s and living on the street.
