Empowering Victims & Preventing Abuse

EMPOWERING VICTIMS TO BE SURVIVORS
Adults and children affected by family violence and sexual assault experience relief, recovery, and rehabilitation.

WHY IT MATTERS
Adult and child survivors of violence and sexual assault suffer extreme levels of stress, which can worsen any health conditions they may have and places them at increased risk for mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. This can lead to self-medication through alcohol and drug abuse, and other high-risk behaviors that can present or worsen legal, social and economic challenges and promote the cycle of abuse.
